Steps in the

 Right Direction

The Vision Statement of Denton' Chapel spells out the Mission which is disciple making geared towards walking away from dogma and doctrines that are not beneficial to Christians is a crucial step toward becoming a true disciple of the Scriptures. The Bible teaches that the truth is found in God’s Word, not in human-made traditions or interpretations that stray from its message. Many doctrines, though once accepted, may hinder spiritual growth or mislead believers into following teachings that are not grounded in Scripture. A disciple of Christ seeks to align their life with the truth of God’s Word, free from the constraints of religious tradition that contradict or obscure it. By prioritizing Scripture above all, Christians can embrace the transformative power of the gospel, becoming more faithful followers of Christ.

A growing kids and teen ministry is one that fosters an environment of excitement, growth, and meaningful connection for young people. It goes beyond simply teaching religious concepts; it creates a space where children and teens can build authentic relationships with God, their peers, and trusted mentors. Through engaging activities, dynamic worship, and interactive lessons, this ministry seeks to meet the unique needs of each age group, providing them with age-appropriate teachings that are both fun and impactful. It empowers kids and teens to explore their faith, ask questions, and discover their purpose, all while creating a sense of community and belonging. A vibrant ministry also encourages leadership, service, and outreach, allowing young people to take on roles that help them grow in responsibility and character. By cultivating a safe and inclusive atmosphere, this ministry not only helps young people grow spiritually but also equips them to navigate life's challenges with confidence and faith.

Become Fishers of   Men

The Bible concept of becoming "fishers of men" is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, specifically in His call to His disciples in Matthew 4:19 and Mark 1:17. When Jesus invited Simon Peter and Andrew to follow Him, He told them, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men." This metaphor signifies the mission of spreading the gospel and leading others to faith in Christ. Just as fishermen cast their nets to catch fish, believers are called to share the message of salvation, drawing people to a relationship with God. The concept emphasizes evangelism, the act of reaching out to others, and the importance of nurturing spiritual growth in those who respond to the message. "Fishers of men" reflects the idea of actively engaging in God's work, seeking out those who are lost or spiritually searching, and bringing them into the fold of the Christian community. It underscores the responsibility of Christians to be active participants in God's redemptive mission in the world.
